Memorandum on the mainstream: Memos to Labour’s next leader An Open Left launchWednesday 15 September

The launch of a new collection of policy memos for the new Labour leader. The collection consists of short memos on key areas of policy contributed by leading Labour figures, including:

John Healey MP on Britain’s ‘squeezed middle’

Ivan Lewis MP on the role of the state and the Big Society

Angela Eagle MP on the economy

Maria Eagle MP on equalities

Gareth Thomas MP on Labour’s renewal, and

Paul Goggins MP on security and terrorism.

The launch event was chaired by Patrick Hennessy, Political Editor of the Sunday Telegraph. It took place at 5pm on Wednesday 15th September in the Boothroyd Room of Portcullis House, Westminster SW1A 2LW.
