Asking the big questions of the Left

Open Left is about rediscovering the Left’s idealism, pluralism and appetite for radical ideas. It starts by asking an essential, but contested question: what does it mean to be on the Left today?

We have asked ten leading left-wing figures to answer six questions about political motivations and beliefs that go to heart of what it means to be on the Left. You can read their responses below, and click on the right to add your own.
